The second play of The Nora Theatre Company’s
2004-2005 season is The Sea Horse, by Edward J. Moore and directed
by Normi Noel.
An unexpected love story unfolds during the course
of Edward J. Moore’s award-winning The
Sea Horse. In this tour de force for two actors, Harry, a robust sailor
with a heart of gold, once again returns to his woman in port, the tough
as nails bartender, Gertrude. Only this time, Harry has his heart on
his sleeve and big dreams in his head. With pathos and humor, painful
truths are unearthed and suddenly the stakes are raised. Will love triumph
over fear and thrive amid these unlikely circumstances?
