The Nora Theatre Company produces illuminating contemporary and modern classic theater and champions the voice of women. We seek to select plays that jostle our hearts and minds, and to produce them in ways that reveal our common humanity. Our repertoire includes new scripts, area premieres, and works that speak with a feminine voice on human concerns and endeavors.

The Nora Theatre Company, in partnership with Underground Railway Theater, and with the support of MIT and the City of Cambridge, is engaged in the creation of Central Square Theater, a new state-of-the-art theatrical arts center in Central Square, Cambridge.  It will be the first permanent home for both companies.  Productions and other programming are scheduled to commence in the new theater in July 2008.
